Experteer Overview You will manage and grow strategic client relationships in commercial real estate finance, guiding both client services and business development. You'll act as a liaison between clients and internal partners to deliver strong service and drive lending outcomes. The role blends origination and portfolio management with risk-aware decision making, contributing to robust client experiences in a fast-paced banking environment. This position offers hybrid working and a clear path to professional development in lending. You will play a pivotal role in shaping client strategies and ensuring credit quality while supporting growth. Pay / Benefits
- Own origination and non-origination activities for a complex customer portfolio with growth through business development Actively manage sector portfolio considering risks, capital allocation and commercial factors Deliver best-in-class credit stewardship, transaction execution and customer service as first line of defence Identify and manage risks, including proactive handling of problem loans, data quality, and portfolio reporting Drive delivery of financial metrics while minimizing bad debts Serve as liaison between customers and business partners to ensure needs are met and updates are communicated Build deep relationships with customers and prospects, developing quantitative and qualitative business cases for lending needs Support ongoing client meetings on-site and collaborate with colleagues in the office and remotely Tasks Broad experience in the banking industry, including regulatory and commercial environments Strong risk management discipline and practical application Experience with relevant legal policies and regulatory obligations Credit skills for stewarding customer exposures Ability to analyze complex financial information and structure appropriate solutions Extensive customer and sector knowledge Line management experience would be beneficial Key requirements hybrid working professional qualification support (Diploma in Lending Skills) career development opportunities full-time 35 hours per week
