Full Job Description

This post is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career in healthcare science or pharmacy technical services. You will support the day-to-day operation of the Radiopharmacy Preparation Unit, helping to ensure the safe, timely production and supply ofradiopharmaceuticals. Key duties include:o Preparing equipment, consumables, and work areas for manufacturing activitieso Preparation of Radiopharmaceutical kits and quality control testingo Supporting stock control, receipting deliveries, and maintaining accurate recordso Cleaning, environmental monitoring, and routine quality checkso Supporting radiation monitoring and waste handling (full training provided)o Helping with the packing and dispatch of products to clinical areaso Completing documentation in line with local procedures and regulatory standardsAbout youPrevious Aseptic Production/Radiopharmacy experience is desirable - full training will be provided.We are looking for someone who:o Is keen to learn

The Radiopharmacy Department at Barts Health is entering an exciting phase of growth and development.

Working within Imaging Services, Radiopharmacy supports Nuclear Medicine bypreparing specialist radioactive medicines used for diagnosis and treatment. The department works closely with scientists, pharmacy technicians, technologists, physicists, and clinicians as part of a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team., Barts Health is one of the largest NHS trusts in the country, and one of Britain's leading healthcare providers.
