Job DescriptionWe're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Structures team on A417 Missing Link at Air Balloon team based in Gloucestershire. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the commercial function whilst working this exciting highways project.Location: A417 Missing Link at Air Balloon, Gloucestershire - travel to the office with some remote working Hours: Permanent Fulltime 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per year + private healthcare + £5,900 annual car allowance + excellent benefitsWe are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this roleWhat will you be responsible for?As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a key role in managing costs, maximising value, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety throughout the contract. Your day to day will include: Managing commercial resources to maximise planned gross

margin through effective contract and subcontract control Managing change control with Subcontractors inline with NEC4 procedures. Minimising risk of disallowed costs from the Client. Assessing and mitigating commercial and contractual risks whilst implementing Kier's risk management policies Maximising cash flow through the control, measurement, and valuation of work, including invoicing and supplier payments Valuing work executed by subcontractors and certifying interim and final paymentsWhat are we looking for?This Senior Quantity Surveyor role would suit someone who has: Experience working in a similar role within the highways sector A relevant qualification, such as a degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build effective relationships Confidence using MS Office, particularly Excel, and other IT systems Excellent organisation and time management skills, with flexibility to travel when requiredRewards and
