Full Job Description
We're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Water Treatment Works Upgrade team based in Wisley STW, Surrey., As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the commercial team, supporting them in delivering the commercial management of the project. Your day to day will include:
- Ensuring compliance with the project's procurement strategy, including subcontract inquiries and tender reviews
- Managing valuations, project cashflows, and turnover forecasts, including monthly cost reports and progress records
- Providing legal and contractual advice on orders and changes, handling notices and subcontractor administration
- Driving commercial initiatives, producing margin improvement plans and supporting team members in maximizing opportunities
- Leading and managing junior staff, ensuring workload targets, deadlines, and commercial tasks are met
You hold a relevant academic qualification in a Construction related degree - You hold a Full driving licence
- You have demonstrable experience working in a Commercial role for a contractor, ideally with Civils exposure
- You have experience with a variety of contract forms
- You enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team
