Senior Quantity Surveyor

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Commercial team, supporting them in managing the commercial, procurement and financial aspects of the Southern Water Strategic Delivery programme. Your day to day will include:

• Managing commercial performance through effective team leadership, contract administration, and risk management
• Ensuring robust cost reporting and forecasting while maintaining excellent client relationships
• Supporting junior team members and fostering their professional development
• Collaborating with the procurement team to implement effective procurement strategies
• Maximising cash flow through diligent measurement, valuation, and financial control procedures
  
  You have a relevant degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying
• You have experience working with NEC forms of contract and current Construction Law
• You're an excellent communicator who can build relationships with clients and colleagues alike
• You enjoy mentoring junior team members and sharing your expertise
• You thrive in collaborative environments while being able to work independently
