About the role:
An exciting opportunity to join the University Academic Quality Unit in the role of Senior Quality Officer.
The postholder will act as a Business Partner for academic schools in relation to all aspects of Quality Assurance and will be expected to take a team based approach to the workload of Academic Quality Unit and operate effectively and flexibly to support the delivery of the overall Academic Quality service. The successful applicant will manage professional support for academic schools and partner institutions (both in the UK and overseas) in developing, advising on and implementing procedures and regulations (including implementation of the curriculum framework) related to academic quality and standards, the development, approval and review of programmes and their delivery within institutional and external regulatory frameworks, and the professional support for university and college committees and other ad hoc meetings.
The successful applicant should have experience of building and maintaining relationships with staff at all levels and key external organisations and the ability to juggle a demanding workload. With the ability to prioritise your own deadlines and for others, the post holder will be expected to work effectively under pressures across a range of projects to ensure that deadlines are met.
Candidates will have an undergraduate degree or equivalent, relevant professional experience and be self-motivated and resilient with an energetic, positive and proactive approach, the post holder will demonstrate the ability to adjust to unfamiliar situations, demands and changing roles.
