We are not your average workplace.Ocean Infinity is seeking a Senior QA Engineer.Senior QA EngineerThe Senior QA Engineer is responsible for being the primary point of contact within the Software QA team for all projects referring to both Unreal Engine & Simulator development, ensuring the correct development and appropriate testing practices for high-quality product standards across all of the aforementioned software products. This role ensures that the QA processes, tools, and methodologies align with industry regulations and best practices. The Senior QA Engineer collaborates closely with the Software QA Lead and members of their team to establish quality benchmarks, processes, and fostering a quality-driven culture across their team.What you will do:Mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers, providing guidance and support to create a high-performing, quality-focused teamCollaborate with
Stakeholders to ensure that the software development life cycle includes thorough testing and adheres to industry quality standardsDevelop and implement QA strategies and methodologies, ensuring that test plans, processes, and reporting tools are optimized for manual and automated testingOversee the development of test strategies, audit processes, and quality management practices that support continuous improvementFoster a culture of quality by evangelizing QA best practices, identifying areas for process improvements, and driving innovation in testing strategies and methodologiesTrack project progress, measure team performance, and ensure that QA initiatives align with the broader organizational objectives and product goalsConduct performance reviews, coaching, and career development for the QA team membersCommunicate and collaborate with stakeholders to translate QA-related insights into actionable plansComply with Ocean Infinity Policies, practices, programs, and procedures
as described in the Ocean Infinity management system.Who you are:At least 3 years of experience in testing Unreal Engine applicationsProven experience in leading and managing testing activitiesExperience with testing lifecycle tools such as X-rayExtensive knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processesStrong expertise in various types of software QA testingProven experience in complex agile software development projectsAbility to derive and execute tests from complex technical concepts and requirementsStrong knowledge of test writing techniques and the creation of test artefactsExcellent communication skills in English, both spoken and writtenProficiency in using version control systemsExperience with tools such as Jenkins and Azure DevOpsFamiliarity with Jira and ConfluenceKnowledge of test automation and automation tools/frameworksSalary for this position:Porto - Up to €65,000 per annumLondon - Up to £95,000 per annumSalary: The salary varies for
this position as we are recruiting in multiple regional locations and job grades.
