Full Job Description

We're looking for a Senior Project Manager to join us on a 24 month fixed term contract. You'll play a pivotal role in delivering a long term, UK wide programme designed to inspire action, build participation and help restore nature at scale. Working at the heart of a complex and high profile campaign, you'll provide expert project leadership, bringing structure, clarity and momentum to work that spans teams, partners and disciplines., You'll lead the delivery of the Campaign from a project management perspective, overseeing planning, governance, budgets and delivery across multiple interconnected workstreams. Working closely with campaign leadership and senior stakeholders, you'll translate strategic ambition into clear project plans, timelines and priorities, ensuring work remains aligned and achievable. You'll manage risk, interdependencies and change, support effective decision making through robust governance, and provide clear reporting and assurance. Alongside this, you'll lead and support project team members, work closely with external partners and suppliers where needed, and help ensure the campaign is delivered to agreed scope, quality, time and budget within a complex organisational environment.

We'd love to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following:

  • A project management qualification (or equivalent experience), with extensive experience of successfully managing major, strategic or complex projects in multi disciplinary environments
  • In depth knowledge of project management lifecycles, processes and governance
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage, motivate and support project teams through complexity and change
  • Strong strategic thinking skills, including the ability to work with ambiguity, adapt approaches and make pragmatic decisions as priorities evolve
  • Significant experience of financial, commercial and contractual management, including responsibility for large or multi million pound project budgets
  • A strong track record of planning and delivering projects to agreed scope, time and quality
  • Strong stakeholder management capability, with experience influencing, negotiating and building trusted relationships at senior levels
  • Communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to bring people together, share clarity and support collaborative delivery across diverse teams
