Full Job Description

We're looking for a high-calibre Senior Project Manager to join our London team-someone operating within a consultancy environment, experienced in leading complex projects and client relationships, and ready to play a central role in both project delivery and business growth. The Opportunity You'll join a dynamic and growing team delivering a diverse portfolio of projects across sectors such as commercial real estate, education, public sector, heritage, and mixed-use development. This role is suited to an experienced Senior Project Manager ready to step into a senior leadership position-owning major commissions, acting as a trusted advisor to clients, and influencing outcomes across complex, multi-stakeholder environments.Your role

  • Leading the delivery of complex, high-value projects across the full lifecycle-from strategy and procurement through to construction and handover
  • Acting as a senior client advisor, building strong, lasting relationships and providing strategic guidance
  • Taking full accountability for programme, cost, risk, and change management, ensuring robust governance throughout
  • Leading and coordinating multidisciplinary consultant and contractor teams to deliver high-quality outcomes
  • Chairing senior project meetings, including governance boards and risk workshops
  • Overseeing procurement strategies and administering contracts (e.g. JCT / NEC)
  • Managing project financials, including fee proposals, forecasting, and commercial performance
  • Driving project performance-proactively identifying risks, unlocking opportunities, and resolving challenges
  • Supporting account leadership-contributing to client development, pipeline growth, and repeat business
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing Project Managers and Assistant PMs, supporting professional growth and chartership

    We're keen to hear from candidates currently working in a project management consultancy, with a proven track record of delivering projects of similar scale and complexity, and a strong client-facing presence.
  • Essential:
  • Significant experience in project management within the built environment
  • Proven track record delivering building projects from inception to completion, including complex or high-value schemes
  • Strong leadership experience-managing teams, consultants, and stakeholders effectively
  • Confident in a client-facing, advisory role, with the ability to build trust and influence decisions
  • In-depth understanding of project governance, risk management, and delivery frameworks
  • Experience administering JCT and/or NEC contracts
  • Chartered (or equivalent) with a recognised professional body (e.g. RICS, APM, CIOB)
  • Strong commercial acumen, including financial management and reporting
  • Desirable:
  • Experience across both public and private sector clients
  • Track record in business development, bid writing, and account growth
  • Experience mentoring team members through professional accreditation/chartership
  • Awareness of construction market trends, procurement strategies, and industry best practice
