Senior Project Controller

As a Senior Project Controller, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the successful delivery of complex projects and programs. Acting as a trusted advisor to Project Directors and project leadership teams, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust project controls processes across cost, schedule, risk, change, and performance management disciplines. You will build strong, collaborative relationships with project teams, customers, and functional stakeholders while contributing to the continuous improvement and maturity of the project control's function. This role offers the opportunity to influence project outcomes, drive best practices, and support operational excellence across the project lifecycle. As a Senior Project Controller , you will be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining the Project Control Plan, ensuring alignment with project objectives, governance requirements, and execution strategies.
• Driving project start-up activities and monitoring progress to ensure project controls processes, systems, and reporting frameworks are established effectively.
• Serving as the primary point of contact for Project Directors, project teams, and customers on project cost, risk, performance, and reporting matters.
• Integrating schedule, cost, risk, forecasting, and scope change management processes to provide a comprehensive view of project performance.
• Leading the implementation and ongoing management of project controls systems, tools, interfaces, and reporting methodologies.
• Providing project performance analysis, identifying trends, risks, opportunities, and variances, and supporting the development of corrective actions.
• Supporting project reviews, governance forums, and customer meetings through the preparation and presentation of project controls insights and reporting.
• Engaging with internal and external stakeholders while driving continuous improvement and best practices across the project control's function.
  
  Have proven experience in project controls across large-scale projects or programs within the oil and gas, energy, engineering, or industrial sectors.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of planning and scheduling, cost management, risk management, forecasting, performance analysis, and change management.
• Have experience implementing and assuring project controls governance, processes, and best practices.
• Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions and communicate effectively at all levels.
• Have proficiency with project controls tools such as Microsoft Project (MSP), Oracle Primavera P6, Unifier, ERP systems, Active Risk Manager (ARM), or similar software.
• Be highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
