Working closely with
suppliers and internal stakeholders, you will coordinate order book activities, resolve supply chain challenges, and ensure materials and services are delivered in line with quality, cost, and schedule requirements. You will use data-driven insights to support decision-making, drive continuous improvement, and strengthen supplier relationships across UK and international supply bases.Core duties:Coordinate supplier activities to ensure delivery schedules, quality requirements, and invoicing processes are achieved in line with programme needsOversee order book performance through regular reviews, maintaining accurate ERP data, monitoring delivery status, and resolving supplier and stakeholder queriesCollaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure material and service requirements are understood and delivered to support customer commitmentsBuild and maintain effective supplier relationships through regular engagement, meetings, and visits across UK and international supply basesAssess
supplier performance data and trends, identifying risks, driving improvements, and supporting the successful delivery of procurement valuesEssential Skills:Experience working within a procurement or similar environmentKnowledge of procurement and order book management processes, including purchase orders, supplier performance, delivery schedules, invoicing, and issue resolutionExperience working with suppliers and stakeholders to coordinate activities, manage priorities, and support delivery against business valuesUnderstanding of procurement disciplines such as supplier performance management, supplier development, subcontract management, or procurement deliveryConsiderable IT and analytical skills, including experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel to interpret data, produce reports, and support strategy-makingThe Air Procurement Operations Centre of Excellence Team:The team supports the delivery of Air programmes across UK and international supply bases. Working closely with
