Senior Planner - SC cleared

We're partnering with a leading organisation to find a highly skilled Senior Planner for an exciting contract opportunity in Berkshire. About the Role This full-time, on-site position based in Berkshire offers an 18-month contract with a rate of up to £68.12 per hour. You'll be integral to delivering comprehensive planning capability, supporting project delivery through meticulous schedule management. You'll work closely with project teams to maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), ensuring schedule integrity, analysing network relationships, and delivering Earned Value Management (EVM) insights to facilitate confident decision-making. What You'll Be Responsible For Providing expert planning support to internal teams within multiple projects. Implementing and championing planning processes, policies, and procedures. Producing
and maintaining planning and EVM deliverables aligned with the business rhythm. Supporting long-range operational programme planning activities. Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and scientists. Contributing towards continuous improvement of planning methods and tools, such as templates, policies, and guidelines. Delivering high-quality schedule forecasting and variance analysis, especially focusing on Schedule Performance Index (SPI). What We're Looking For Significant senior planning experience, ideally within a large organisation in sectors like aerospace or rail. Strong foundation in Primavera P6, with the ability to lead and promote its use across projects. Proactive planner, capable of adding tangible value to programmes and projects. Excellent communication skills, comfortable engaging with diverse stakeholders. Solid understanding of planning fundamentals and critical path analysis. Current SC security clearance; eligibility
