Are you an enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapist looking to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment?, We are seeking a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the Hospital Rapid Discharge Team (HRDT) within the Emergency Department at Princess Royal Hospital. This rewarding role supports patients to receive the right care, in the right place, at the right time.

Working within a skilled multidisciplinary team, you will assess patients presenting with acute illness, injury, frailty, falls, and mobility concerns. Your clinical expertise will help prevent unnecessary admissions and facilitate safe, timely discharge from the Emergency Department.

This role offers excellent opportunities to develop advanced clinical reasoning, autonomous practice, and leadership skills. You will work closely with Emergency Medicine clinicians, nursing teams, community services, and specialist pathways while managing a varied caseload.

If you are looking for a role that will challenge and inspire you while making a real difference to patients every day, we would love to hear from you., The post holder will have excellent clinical decision-making skills that willsupport the A&E staff in the management of discharging patients into thecommunity and community beds.The post holder will support with the induction of new staff.The post holder will attend MDT meetings, and support A&E staff with complex discharge functions as required.To provide training and education to A&E staff around what support community services can provide and support in discharge management & processes.

To ensure records and data are maintained in a timely manner and in line with information governance and data sets required for the service.
