Senior Physiotherapist

We are pleased to present the opportunity for a Band 6 Physiotherapist within the Willow Therapy Team. The post holder will work in an integrated team providing clinical leadership to Band 5 Physiotherapists, Band 4 Assistant Practitioners, Physiotherapy Apprentices and students. The Willow Therapy Unit operates a 7 day service model and shift working (7am-7.30pm), to enable round the clock reablement and achieving the best outcomes for out patients. This is a part time post. Regrettably we are unable to offer sponsorship,

• To assess and prescribe care programmes for patients with, but not exclusive to, long term conditions, the frail and elderly, palliative care and rehabilitation needs, to achieve quality of life and independence where possible
• To work within the integrated team to facilitate early discharge from hospital
• To work within the integrated team to prevent unnecessary admission to hospital
• To work with all health care professionals, and statutory and non-statutory agencies to provide a seamless integrated service to our service users
