Experteer Overview In this role, you will ensure accurate UK payrolls for about 1,250 employees across multiple entities, while supporting two major transformation projects (Workday implementation and the shift to Strada). You will work within the HR Shared Services team in Leeds to drive process improvements and ensure payroll is compliant with legislation. You will interact with stakeholders to resolve queries and contribute to reporting and audits. This is an opportunity to shape payroll delivery during a period of significant system evolution in a global engineering company. Pay / Benefits

  • Ensure payroll accuracy for ~1,250 UK employees across 8 monthly and 1 weekly payrolls across multiple entities Process payroll changes: starters, leavers, absences, contractual amendments Calculate and process overtime, shift premiums and other variable payments Validate payroll data from multiple sources (integrated systems and manual submissions) Reconcile payroll information and resolve discrepancies Ensure payrolls comply with legislation and company requirements Respond to payroll-related queries from employees and stakeholders Support payroll reporting and audit requirements Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and payroll process optimisation Tasks Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing Strong understanding of payroll legislation and best practice Experience processing variable pay elements (overtime, shift allowances, absence payments) Comfortable with payroll and HR systems and multi-source data Excellent attention to detail and highly organised Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and employees Experience of iTrent, Workday or payroll implementation projects advantageous but not essential Key requirements competitive base salary annual bonus linked to performance private medical insurance - individual cover Medicash Health Cash Plan 33 days' holiday defined pension contribution
