Lead Orthopaedic Practitioner - Plaster Room
Are you ready to take the lead in a dynamic and highly skilled team? We're looking for an inspiring professional to head up our dedicated Orthopaedic Practitioner team within our busy plaster room service.
You'll play a pivotal role in delivering a comprehensive Orthopaedic and Trauma plaster service, supporting patients across a wide range of clinical areas. Our service is integral to Fracture and Orthopaedic clinics, Outpatients, the Emergency Department, and Orthopaedic theatres (both adult and paediatric). You'll also collaborate closely with specialist services including the Diabetic Foot Clinic and Paediatric Physiotherapy.
This is an exciting opportunity to combine clinical expertise with leadership, driving high standards of patient care while supporting and developing a motivated and passionate team.
If you're looking to make a real impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment - we'd love to hear from you., As a Senior Orthopaedic Practitioner Band 6 in Orthopaedic outpatients you would have responsibilities like:
o Coordinating the daily activities of the Clinic and plaster room.
o Working with the speciality team in deciding the clinic rota and allocation of staff according to skill mix.
o Be able to help the team with complex clinical and non-clinical situations arising in a day to day basis.
o Coordinate plaster room services ensuring cover for fracture clinic, Tau, Wards, and various speciality teams.
