Our specialist oncology theatre suite provides a unique environment where you will be involved in a wide range of procedures, including Colorectal, Plastic, Urology, and Gynaecology surgery, as well as supporting our highly specialised Brachytherapy department. Are you an experienced, motivated, and forward-thinking ODP or Registered Nurse looking for your next challenge? We are offering a fantastic opportunity to join our dynamic team within The Christie Theatres, taking on a leadership role in our 8 bed Recovery area., The successful candidate will:o Be a registered practitioner (RGN or ODP) with the appropriate qualifications and evidence of ongoing professional development.o Have a minimum of two years' experience in Adult Recovery practice.o Demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.o Be highly motivated, organised, and proactive, with the ability to work independently when required.o Bring strong leadership skills, with teaching and assessing experience considered desirable.You will be contracted to work 37.5 hours per week, across 4 or 5 days, with flexibility required to cover the service over Monday to Saturday. The role also includes participation in the out-of-hours on-call rota.This position offers an excellent opportunity to further develop your career in a specialist, supportive, and rewarding theatre environment.
