Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity? Are you passionate about delivering excellent clinical leadership and positive outcomes for staff, children, young people and families. We are looking for an experienced Non-medical Prescriber (Nurse) to take the lead in our ADHD pathway. The successful candidate will be pivotal in the radical transformation of the neurodevelopmental service offer for school-aged children and young people in Surrey. You will deliver a high-quality clinical service, including assessment and management plans; and providing clinical leadership, supervision and guidance to other appropriate clinicians. The service will be delivered within an accessible, non-stigmatising, localized setting to the CYP and will contribute to the overall care pathway for the CYP., This role will be responsible for taking a clinical leadership role within the Children's Neurodevelopmental Service in Surrey. The post holder will work autonomously managing their own clinical and clinical leadership workload and continue to develop and apply their knowledge and skills to a broad range of clinically and professionally challenging and complex situations. Acting within their professional boundaries the post holder will be responsible for families across the Neurodevelopmental Service. They will work jointly with other practitioners across the alliance where there are complex co-morbidities and/or needs across the Thrive Needs Based Groupings.

The post holder will provide clinical leadership and oversight of Non-Medical Prescribers and ND Practitioners within the pathway, supporting and being responsible for clinical decision making and risk management. The post holder will contribute to the transformation of service delivery and clinical pathways and practices and have an ongoing role in the strategic development and review of the service, always ensuring the service continues to provide high quality and best practice interventions.
