More details about the role This is a clinically focused role for an experienced Nuclear Medicine Radiographer or Clinical Technologist who can support the routine day-to-day delivery of the service. For a Band 6 appointment, we would expect applicants to have over two years experience in Nuclear Medicine and to hold, or be working towards, a relevant postgraduate qualification. The post-holder will be expected to undertake a wide range of clinical duties, including patient preparation, administration of radiopharmaceuticals, image acquisition, image processing and completion of relevant documentation. Administration of radiopharmaceuticals is an essential requirement for appointment at Band 6. Previous experience in radiopharmacy would be advantageous but is not essential, as in-house radiopharmacy training will be provided. The successful applicant will be expected to work confidently and
autonomously within departmental protocols, while also working effectively as part of the wider team. They will contribute to safe and efficient patient throughput while maintaining high standards of patient care, image quality and radiation protection. Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week.
