We are keen to make our service the best that it can be, and that includes a commitment to developing our team professionally. You would be encouraged to lead on your own projects, and supported in working towards registration as a Higher Specialist Scientist., Playing a lead role in the delivery of scientific services and radiation safety support to the Nuclear Medicine department, including advice at MPE level.
Providing similar support in person and remotely to our partners across the region.
Initiating and managing R&D projects and audits to ensure that we are applying best practice and optimising our procedures.
Participating in the duty physics rota (therapies, dosimetry, equipment QC, troubleshooting etc.).
Managing and training junior physicists, and providing radiation training to NM & PET staff and other hospital groups working with ionising radiation.
