Senior Neurodiversity Practitioner - CFHD

This is a 1.0wte, 1 year, fixed term appointment and offers an excellent opportunity for someone interested in developing their skills in autism assessments. We will provide full training and support to ensure you feel confident in conducting assessments and contributing to diagnostic outcomes. We are looking for a dynamic, kind, and proactive individual who is passionate about making a meaningful difference.,

• To undertake high-quality autism assessments, as part of the MDT, including providing initial appointments, neurodevelopmental interviews, and ADOS assessments
• To carry out discipline-specific assessments, as appropriate, to contribute to a wider exploration of an individual's social, communication, and educational needs.
• To communicate effectively with neurodiverse children, young people and adults, families, internal and external staff
• To manage your own varied and complex caseload and to be responsible for completing clinical reports and correspondence in a timely manner.
• To work as part of the MDT to support efficient risk assessment and risk management.
• To liaise with other allied health and education professionals in order to ensure continuity of care across services and work to improve the experience of neurodiverse individuals.
• To make ongoing contributions to service development to ensure that services continue to meet the needs of those we support.
• To take part in CPD opportunities, both internally and externally.
