Full Job Description
You'll be joining a highly motivated and collaborative team of engineers who are passionate about delivering sustainable, innovative solutions and who genuinely enjoy what they do. You will lead the day-to-day technical delivery of mechanical design services on multi-disciplinary pumping station and water control projects. You will oversee the production of high-quality design deliverables, including specifications, drawings, and schedules. You will mentor junior team members, including graduates and apprentices, and play a key role in their career development.
You will be an experienced Senior Mechanical / Principal Mechanical Engineer with a passion for delivering sustainable solutions for your clients and will have the following:
- Proven experience as a Senior Mechanical / Principal Mechanical Engineer in the UK, ideally with a track record of delivering solutions across water and/or flood defence sectors.
- Supported, developed or mentored junior colleagues.
- Experienced with BIM processes and tools including Revit.
- Working closely with and managing Contractors.
- A collaborative mindset and experience working closely with a multidisciplinary team. Qualifications:
- A relevant qualification (HNC, HND, Bachelors or Masters) in Mechanical Engineering .
- Ideally chartered status with the IMechE or CIWEM.
