Full Job Description

We are currently recruiting a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support the team in Warrington., As a Senior Mechanical Engineer you will produce design deliverables that provide a fit-for-purpose integrated solution which meets specified requirements, including validation and verification, and that preserve the design intent and align with the plant configuration, as appropriate. You will also ensure the design solution is able to be manufactured, constructed, commissioned, handed over, put into operation, maintained and decommissioned.,

  • Providing support to resolution of manufacturing, inspection, and test Technical Queries/production permits/concessions.
  • Managing and directing designers in delivery of mechanical plant and equipment drawings and documents.
  • Show knowledge of plant layout, set up, installation and alignment of plant and equipment and machinery for works test, integrated test, and site installation.
  • Writing & checking works test requirement documentation and Integrated works test documents for Plant, Equipment, and machinery. Interaction with CE&I engineers will be required to ensure complete multi-disciplinary interactions are addressed.

    Experience in design and integration of machines in accordance with the SoMSR.
  • Experience and working knowledge of CDM, SoMSR, PUWER & LOLER
  • Experience in the use of Auto desk inventor.
  • Experience in the use of Auto desk vault Basis or Vault Pro (file management).
  • Familiar with GPS ISO (BS 8888)
  • Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (e.g. HNC/HND with significant experience) in engineering discipline
  • Attained/ or working towards chartered or incorporated status with a recognised professional body (e.g. IMechE)
  • Experience of highly regulated environments would be advantageous
