Full Job Description

  • Lead the planning, design, procurement, and implementation of manufacturing equipment and system improvements that enhance operational efficiency, safety, and production performance.
  • Drive manufacturing projects from concept through execution, ensuring processes meet safety requirements, business objectives, quality standards, and product specifications.
  • Apply advanced manufacturing engineering principles and best practices to optimize equipment, streamline processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the operation.
  • Utilize continuous improvement tools and methodologies to reduce waste, improve quality, increase productivity, and deliver sustainable process enhancements.
  • Develop, implement, and standardize manufacturing processes, working methods, and engineering standards to improve consistency and operational excellence.
  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance, coaching, and support to ensure successful project delivery and capability development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, business leaders, suppliers, and external partners to influence decisions and drive project success.
  • Leverage data, performance metrics, and manufacturing insights to identify opportunities, support decision-making, and deliver measurable improvements to business outcomes.

    Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify root causes, implement data-driven solutions, and drive continuous improvement within manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in process improvement and manufacturing analysis, leveraging digital tools and methodologies to optimize productivity, reduce waste, improve quality, and support informed decision-making.
  • Knowledge of ergonomics and workplace design, enabling you to create safe, efficient, and compliant manufacturing processes and workstations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Project and Power BI, is highly desirable, along with knowledge or experience of welding processes, which would be a significant advantage., College, university, or degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or related field, or equivalent experience required.
  • Intermediate level of relevant work experience required.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
