Full Job Description

The Senior Manager will be responsible for 3 Children in Care teams across our three localities (Chester, Ellesmere Port and Winsford), a borough-wide Supporting Independence Team and a small participation and rights team who work with our Children in Care Council., As Senior Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across our Children in Care & Care Leavers , Supporting Independence Team, and Participation Team. You will play a key role in driving our Corporate Parenting responsibilities, ensuring that children and care leavers are supported as if they were our own.

We are looking for a confident and experienced leader with a strong track record in children's social care, particularly in services for children in care and care leavers. You will bring a deep understanding of statutory responsibilities, safeguarding, and trauma-informed practice, alongside the ability to lead through change, use data to drive improvement, and build a positive, reflective culture across services.
