Full Job Description
The post-holder will hold a 12-month fixed term post working within the LTV department at RMCH. The LTV service is responsible for over 180 children and young people and are fortunate to have a transitional care unit catering for 8 Tracheostomy ventilated children awaiting stability and discharge home. We have a large MDT within our LTV service comprising of 3 consultants, discharge co-ordinators, advanced practitioner, LTV nurse educators, specialist nurses in invasive and non-invasive ventilation, and a large AHP support, The post holder will be responsible for inpatient and outpatient management of both invasive and non-invasively supported children and will have the opportunity to work across wards, intensive care and neonatal unit at St Marys. They will also be able to be part of the national LTV advisory group chaired by Dr Stuart Wilkinson at RMCH.
