Full Job Description
This is an exciting time to join our expanding Manchester team as we support Greater Manchester's ambitions for sustainable and inclusive transport. We are looking for a Highways Engineer to join our Transport team, working on a diverse portfolio of projects across the North West.
You will be involved in a wide range of work, from local authority schemes and National Highways projects to major multidisciplinary infrastructure programmes. Our projects span urban and rural road improvements, public transport initiatives and active travel schemes, covering all stages from concept through to detailed design.
In this role, you will contribute to the design and delivery of highways projects across their lifecycle, applying your technical skills to areas such as alignment design, drainage, utilities coordination and 3D modelling. You will also work closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients, supporting the delivery of high-quality, integrated solutions while developing your project management and commercial skills.

Hold an HND, degree or master's in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, and are professionally qualified or working towards this
Have experience supporting the design and delivery of highways or infrastructure projects using industry tools such as Civils 3D, OpenRoads or InfoDrainage
Demonstrate strong technical capability across highway design, with an interest in developing skills across the full project lifecycle
Are confident communicating technical information clearly and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Show enthusiasm for transport and infrastructure, with a proactive approach to learning and development
Experience in NEC contracts, Design & Build schemes or project coordination would be beneficial.
