Senior Healthcare Support Worker - Trauma

As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a key role in supporting our multidisciplinary team. You will assist Registered Nurses and Therapy staff in delivering direct patient care, ensuring that the ward environment remains clean, safe and well organised. You will also support with patient observations, comfort, mobility and personal care., Assist in the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care

Support patients with personal care, mobility and comfort needs

Carry out and accurately record clinical observations as required

Help ensure the ward environment remains clean, tidy and well stocked

Welcome and settle patients and their families onto the ward

Participate in activities and projects that enhance patient experience

You will be friendly, approachable and able to work well as part of a team.

Previous care experience is desirable but not essential. We offer a structured induction programme, ongoing in-house training and opportunities to develop your skills and progress within the Trust.
