Full Job Description
Job Title: Trust Senior FellowStart Date: ASAPContract Type: Fixed termDuration: 12 monthsPurpose for Fixed Term: Training Contract
This post is appointed on a fixed-term basis for the primary purpose of providing structured training and supervised clinical development. While the postholder will contribute to service delivery, the overarching purpose of the post is to provide defined educational opportunities, supervised clinical practice, and experience aligned to the relevant specialty training curriculum, You will work at a "Registrar / ST3+ level" and will generally work for a consultant team. You will be involved in the pre- and post-operative care of the patients, together with the appropriate theatre sessions and clinics. You will be involved in the care of all the patients in the Cardiothoracic unit when on-call. In the theatre, you will assist in operations and may perform supervised surgeries and procedures depending on the level of experience.
