Senior Engineer

We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Software Engineer to work at the forefront of our cloud modernisation, within our Credit & Verification Services reporting into our Engineering Director. This is an incredibly exciting time for the Experian UKI Region, as we look to build our presence in the UK and Hyderabad and work on a technology transformation to meet our aspiration to significantly scale our business over the next five years. Credit and Verification Services currently comprises nearly 100 engineering teams who deliver over 200 products achieving significant revenue per annum for our UK Business. Our Tech: We're predominantly a .NET focused engineering team, building modern, cloud-native applications using the latest in .NET 8+. All new services are developed with a forward-looking mindset, and we actively evaluate emerging features and tools to continuously improve our engineering practices. Our architecture is built on Kubernetes (EKS), enabling us to run scalable, resilient microservices in the cloud. On top of this, we leverage a wide range of AWS services (Lambda, Kinesis, Dynamo and RDS to name just a few), to enhance performance, observability, and integration across our platform. You will be part of a high-performance engineering team that delivers the product backlog of Ascend Cloud Foundation Platform. You will work closely with other Software Engineers to both maintain existing systems and build our cloud-native microservices and web applications using the latest technologies and architectural patterns.

• Hands-on experience with .NET 6+ or .NET Core or .NET Framework building scalable, maintainable and performant REST/SOAP/RPC APIs with microservice or SOA architectures using ASP.NET with proficiency in C#.
