Your RoleAs a Senior Electrical Engineer within the Warship Technical Authority, you will play a crucial role in supporting various programs and projects related to Warship Support. Your expertise will contribute to:
Royal Navy surface ship support contracts
International naval support contracts
Internal and external engineering consultancy projects

In this role, you will:
Support the delivery of core WTA service elements for platform systems, including:
Design Change Management
Platform Technical Assurance
Material State Management
Obsolescence Management
Specialist Engineering Support
Future Support and Transformation Planning

Provide technical leadership and governance within your project.
Share your electrical engineering knowledge to enhance platform systems engineering activities.

Core Duties Deliver electrical engineering support across a variety of platform systems, including:
Power generation and distribution systems
Power conversion equipment
Motors and motor control equipment
Detection and lighting systems

Assist with platform management and monitoring systems.
Maintain design integrity across diverse engineering contexts.
Conduct structured investigations and impact assessments for assigned projects.
Support feasibility studies for potential platform and equipment changes.
Ensure safe and efficient implementation of design changes.
Contribute to the development of bids for engineering activities., The BAE Systems WTA Service HubOur WTA Service Hub provides engineering services across a wide range of delivery projects within BAE Systems Maritime and Land Defence Solutions. You will work on various Royal Navy platforms, collaborating with stakeholders from OEMs to MOD departments.
Your activities will span from feasibility studies for new capabilities to supporting final embodiment and testing.
