Senior Electrical Engineer - High-End Residential

This is a excellent opportunity for someone who can take on the current pipeline of electrical works, initially starting hands on with the chance to develop into a senior engineer role and also look to eventually come off the tools in the future. The Role As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out PPMs, fault finding, repairs and general electrical maintenance across a portfolio of luxury residential and retail properties. The role will involve working directly within prestigious homes, so a professional manner, strong communication skills and a high standard of workmanship are essential. Key Responsibilities Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical repairs Fault finding and diagnostics across domestic electrical systems Maintenance and repair of lighting systems, power circuits and electrical accessories Testing and inspection of electrical installations Carrying out remedial
works and identifying potential electrical faults Maintenance of distribution boards, consumer units and associated electrical equipment Carrying out emergency lighting and general lighting maintenance Working on small electrical installation and alteration projects Ensuring all work is completed safely and to the required electrical standards Maintaining accurate service records and reporting on works completed Liaising professionally with clients and other contractors while working within high-end residential properties Supporting the wider engineering team where required Package & Benefits Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience (client can be flexible for the right calibre of candidate) Hours: 40 hours per week Travel / Working Hours: 1 hour each way given for travel time Holiday: 22 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays Vehicle & Fuel Card: Company van provided; private use permitted "within reason" No on Call Technology: Company mobile phone and laptop provided
