Role OverviewAs a Senior Electrical Engineer within the Warship Technical Authority, you will play a crucial role in providing engineering support for various programmes and projects. Your expertise will be vital in supporting Royal Navy surface ship contracts, international naval support, and engineering consultancy projects.
Your Responsibilities Provide electrical engineering support for a wide range of platform systems, including: Power generation and distribution systems
Power conversion equipment
Motors and motor control equipment
Detection and lighting systems

Assist in maintaining design integrity across diverse engineering contexts.
Support structured investigations and impact assessments for assigned projects.
Contribute to feasibility studies for potential platform and equipment changes.
Ensure safe and efficient implementation of design changes while maintaining configuration control.
Assist in developing bids for engineering activities.

What We're Looking For A degree-level education or equivalent industry experience with a solid understanding of technical concepts.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplined team.
Strong communication skills to engage with various stakeholders at the appropriate technical level.
Understanding of automation systems and the ability to define and capture requirements.
