Working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams, you will help develop innovative and sustainable solutions while supporting the successful delivery of projects to agreed quality, programme and budget requirements. You will bring strong technical expertise and provide guidance on electrical and control systems design across a varied portfolio of projects. The role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of schemes, including renewable energy projects such as wind, solar, hydro and energy storage, as well as water treatment, water distribution, wastewater and industrial infrastructure projects. You will apply and further develop your knowledge of electrical and control systems, CDM regulations and industry best practice while contributing to technically robust and sustainable outcomes. Throughout, you'll play a part in advancing Arup's mission to create a low-carbon, equitable future aligned with our values and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

We are looking for talented Senior Electrical Engineers to join our growing MEICA team, with experience in Instrumentation and Control Systems considered advantageous. In this role, you will contribute to the winning and delivery of projects across the UK within the Energy, Water and Resources sectors.,

  • Strong background in electrical design, ideally within Energy, Water, or Resources sectors
  • Ability to produce and interpret detailed design documentation and drawings
  • Experience with relevant design tools and software (e.g. Trimble and other industry-standard systems)
  • Understanding of Electrical and/or Control Systems engineering, with specialist knowledge in at least one area
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary projects and strong knowledge of CDM regulations
  • Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline; professional registration (IEng/CEng)
