Full Job Description
Ever yelled \"why isn't security baked in from the start?!\" at a CI/CD pipeline? Good. We've been expecting you.
Our client is a post-Series B FinTech infrastructure company - the kind that quietly powers giants you've definitely heard of. They're building the backbone of modern finance, and they need someone to make sure it never needs a back brace. Headquartered in London, and very much in \"let's do this properly\" mode.
As their new Senior DevSecOps Engineer, you won't just bolt security on at the end like an afterthought (we see you). You'll own it end-to-end - from hardening GCP environments and locking down Kubernetes clusters, to automating compliance checks and building the \"golden path\" templates that let developers ship fast without accidentally burning the house down. This is a foundational role with real influence. You'll be shaping the security posture of a regulated, multi-tenant platform that genuinely matters.
What's on offer:Up to £90,000 base + equity - because you should own a slice of what you secureHybrid working (2 days in office, 3 from wherever you do your best thinking).Nomad working up to 20 days a year25 days holiday, growing annuallyBUPA private medical, enhanced parental leave, and a pension that actually existsMonthly socials, team lunches, office snacks, and a dog-friendly office - because security engineers deserve joy too
What we're looking for:Deep GCP security expertise and GKE hardening - IAM, network policies, runtime security, secrets management (not post-it notes)Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or OpenTofu, written securelyHands-on with CSPM/CNAPP tooling - Falco, Aqua, Prisma Cloud, or similarCI/CD security guardrails across GitLab CI or GitHub ActionsScripting in Python, Golang, or Shell to automate the things, so you're not fixing at 2am ;)
If you're a security engineer who wants to build something that lasts rather than patch something that's already on fire, we'd love to hear from you. Drop us a message or hit apply - your future pipeline (the secure one) awaits.
