Senior Design Manager

We're looking for a Senior Design Manager to join our Construction team based in Essex with project location near Ipswich, Suffolk., As a Senior Design Manager, you'll be working within the Construction team, supporting them in delivering exceptional design management across all project stages. Your day to day will include:

• Managing and delivering design information in accordance with agreed programmes and schedules
• Ensuring appointed design consultants carry out their duties and comply with standards and briefs
• Assessing, mitigating and managing design-related risks throughout the project lifecycle
• Chairing design meetings, writing reports and delivering presentations to stakeholders
• Ensuring design compliance with health and safety legislation, sustainable building standards and industry codes of practice
  
  You hold a relevant qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture with demonstrable experience in a design role within a main contractor environment
• You have experience of BIM level 2 projects and exceptional knowledge of the design process at both commercial and construction stages
• You possess an intimate understanding of the RIBA plan of work and up to date knowledge of current building regulations
• You have the ability to produce detailed presentations and feel comfortable delivering to internal and external stakeholders
• You hold a Full driving licence
