Full Job Description

As Senior Delivery Manager, you will lead the coordination, planning and delivery of complex, multi million pound imaging infrastructure projects - including Ultrasound, X ray, CT, MRI and Cath Lab modernisation. You will support the delivery of capital equipment and infrastructure programmes that sit within a nationally significant portfolio, including programmes linked to the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC). Working closely with the Head of Programme: Imaging Infrastructure, estates, clinical teams, procurement, finance, infection prevention, radiation protection and our Managed Equipment Partner (MEP), you will ensure schemes are delivered safely, on time and to the highest quality standards. In this role, you will:

  • Lead and coordinate end to end delivery of imaging infrastructure schemes, from design and option appraisal to procurement, installation and mobilisation.
  • Support strategic planning for high profile programmes, helping shape the Trust's diagnostic strategy for the coming decade.
  • Develop tender documentation, submissions, procurement strategies, business cases, risk registers, dashboards and project reports.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring robust governance, financial control and compliance.
  • Build strong working relationships with Siemens and other external partners, ensuring seamless integration of equipment, technology and service delivery.
  • Lead multi disciplinary steering groups and operational readiness planning.
  • Champion innovation, service improvement and value for money across all imaging programmes.
  • This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a nationally visible imaging programme during a period of significant growth and transformation. You will report directly to the Head of Programme - Imaging Infrastructure, in a role that provides a high level of visibility across the organisation.
