Senior Consultant - AI Engineer (Banking)

What you'll be doingAs a Senior Consultant, you'll work alongside AI Engineers, Data Scientists, Architects and client stakeholders to deliver innovative AI products and solutions across the Banking sector. You'll be responsible for:Designing and delivering AI-powered products, AI Agents and intelligent automation solutionsBuilding rapid prototypes and Proofs of Concept using the latest Generative AI technologiesDeveloping production-ready AI applications using Python and modern cloud platformsWorking with Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG architectures, embeddings and agent frameworksCollaborating with engineering, architecture and business teams to translate requirements into scalable AI solutionsSupporting AI architecture, deployment patterns and technical design decisionsHelping clients adopt AI responsibly, considering governance, security and regulatory requirementsMentoring junior consultants and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team culture

This is an opportunity to work on high-profile transformation programmes, helping clients move from AI strategy and rapid prototyping through to enterprise-scale implementation., What we're looking forWe're keen to speak with AI Engineers, Applied AI Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers and Senior Data Scientists who have experience delivering AI solutions within a consultancy or financial services environment.You'll ideally have experience with:Python and SQLLarge Language Models (LLMs)Prompt engineering, fine-tuning and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)LangChain, LangGraph or similar agent frameworksVector databases such as Pinecone, Chroma or FAISSAI Agents and Generative AI applicationsCloud platforms including AWS and/or AzureModern ML pipelines and MLOps practicesAgile delivery methodologiesExperience working within Banking, Financial Services or a technology consultancy would be highly advantageous.
