Full Job Description
Are you an experienced community midwife with a special interest in working with vulnerable women/service users and their families?, The Liberty Team midwives provide care to vulnerable pregnant women/service users including teenagers, those with learning disabilities, victims of domestic abuse, those experiencing severe mental health issues, and those with with complex safeguarding issues.
The post holder will provide clinical leadership and undertake responsibility for line management of team. They will ensure communication is maintained across the community leadership team involving all Community Team Leaders and Senior Managers, and will take responsibility for the effective organisation and delivery of care across the service on a day-to-day basis.
You will provide antenatal and postnatal care in hospital /community clinics and in women's homes. You will provide a full range of health education, social care and advice to women, liaising with multi-disciplinary/agency groups to continually improve maternity care for childbearing women/service users and their families, being responsive to their needs and obtain user views as appropriate.
