Job summary
Are you a passionate, energetic and an experienced Community Children's Nurse?
An exciting opportunity has become available for a part time band 6 Senior Children's Nurse to work within the Bexley and Greenwich Community Children's Nursing Team and integrated Hospital at Home Team.
The post holder will be a Children's Nurse with extensive knowledge and experience of working within the community, thus being an exceptional role model and able to demonstrate evidence of up to date academic development post registration.
The team provides a seven day service from 08.00 to 20:30, there is also 24 hour on call provision for children & young people who require end of life care at home.
Main duties of the job
The CCN/HAH is part of an integrated network of services for children in Bexley and Greenwich providing highly skilled, nursing care to children and families with nursing needs in their own homes or community settings.
To provide a high standard of evidenced based nursing care for children and young people with the following conditions: acute and long term conditions, children with disabilities and complex conditions including those requiring palliative and end of life care.
This is a post suitable for a Children's Community Nurse who should have experience of working within a Community Children's Nursing Team.
