Senior Commissioning Manager (CYP)

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Children and Young People's Complex Care Team for a Senior Commissioner to support an ambitious improvement programme for children and young people who require individualised packages of care across North Central London. You will provide collaborative leadership across the system, working with children's and adult services, Continuing Care and Continuing Healthcare teams, local authorities, commissioners and other partners to improve outcomes and experiences for children, young people and their families. You will play an important role in developing effective pathways, strengthening partnership working and ensuring care is high quality, well governed and provides value for public money.,

• Provide operational leadership on behalf of the Integrated Care System to support high-quality services for children and young people requiring individualised packages of care.
• Contribute to the development of pathways and commissioning functions that improve the quality, effectiveness and experience of care across North Central London.
• Build collaborative relationships across health, social care, local authorities and other partner organisations.
• Maintain a clear overview for the Head of Complex Care of children and young people requiring individualised care, alongside related funding, commissioning and governance arrangements.
• Support effective governance, quality and performance arrangements, ensuring resources are used appropriately and provide value for public money.
• Develop and maintain trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, supporting shared priorities and constructive decision-making.
• Work flexibly across organisational boundaries to respond to changing priorities and improve outcomes for children, young people and their families.
• Promote an inclusive, compassionate and person-centred approach to commissioning and service improvement.
  
  We are looking for someone with strong communication and relationship-building skills, who can work flexibly, manage competing priorities and bring a supportive, compassionate and inclusive approach to leadership.
Experience of Continuing Care, Continuing Healthcare, Complex Care, commissioning or staff leadership would be valuable. We welcome applications from people who can demonstrate transferable skills and relevant experience.
