Job Type: Full-Time

Working Pattern: AWE operates a 9-day working fortnight, with every other Friday as a non-working day. This role is eligible for hybrid working, typically involving three days on site in a long week and two days on site in a short week. The Senior Commercial Performance Manager is accountable for ensuring that the performance of the Commercial function is measured and reported accurately, reflecting Commercial's role in supporting the delivery of the AWE Business Plan. They will ensure that functional performance is visible and key information is available to Commercial leadership and the AWE executive team to keep the function accountable. The role highlights opportunities, issues, and challenges in delivering the Commercial strategy supporting AWE's mission. This position reports to the Principal Commercial Performance, Insights & Reporting Manager.
Key Accountabilities:
- Leading the team to develop the cadence for Commercial functional and leadership reporting and providing ad hoc support, coordinating all inputs, and delivering strategic narratives.
- Monitoring performance against the Commercial strategy, identifying opportunities for improvement, challenges, and remedial actions.
- Ensuring the accuracy of Commercial pipeline reporting to support planning, external reporting, and prioritization.
- Establishing and maintaining the Commercial reporting framework for key programs and projects critical to AWE's mission.
Experience and Skills:
- Compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Proven professional experience, especially in Procurement or Commercial functions.
- Experience designing or managing commercial performance frameworks.
- Supporting senior stakeholders and engaging with C-suite level audiences.
- Ability to report and derive insights across functions to provide a clear view of performance.
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to align business priorities to commercial outcomes.
- Data analysis and storytelling skills.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
