Full Job Description

Duties will include providing a high standard of care by attending to aspects of patient personal hygiene, maintaining patient tissue integrity and providing pressure area care, recording of observations, liaising with the patient's families and the general public and supporting your colleagues in providing a positive experience for the patient. Please read the attached 'Day in the life of a Clinical Support Worker' for further information., The role of the Senior Clinical Support Worker is to work under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse to provide the highest possible standard of essentially care for patients and their family's carer.

The post holder will work under the direction of the Registered nurse to Provide and deliver a high standard of compassionate personal care recognising and meeting the specific needs of the patients, they will assist in planning, implementation, and evaluation of individual programmes of care for patient.

Under the direction of the Registered Nurse they will undertake a range of delegated clinical care duties including personal care duties, recording patient observations and changes to patient clinical conditions and carry out clinical care duties in line with the Clinical Competency framework included in appendix 1, under the Senior Clinical Support Worker section.

The post holder will be required to participate in a 24-hour shift pattern and possible rotation between wards within their speciality.

We can offer a range of working opportunities including full and part time hours covering a variety of shift patterns over a 7 day rota including early, lates and night duty.
