Full Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Clinical Nursing Assistant Band 3 that has a caring nature and skills to care for a complex group of patients that include both pre and postoperative care. Patients undergoing potentially lifechanging surgery. Therefore you are required to have previous care experience and have an understanding of the Proud to Care document and its importance in maintaining safety and Quality. You are required to cover a 24hour period, therefore, the post holder is required to work both day and night shifts.
In relation to Band 3 Senior Clinical Support Worker roles, we are currently able to recruit successfully from the domestic labour market and have a sufficient pool of suitably qualified and appointable candidates. As a result, visa sponsorship is not available for this role at this time. This position is kept under regular review and may change in the future should labour market conditions or service requirements alter. Interviews If you are shortlisted for an interview for this role, you must bring evidence of the following qualifications:
- GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or Level 2 Functional Skills for Maths and English. If you hold overseas GCSE equivalent qualifications, you will need to bring an ECCTIS comparability statement for yourGCSE equivalent qualifications along with your original certificate
- A Full Care CertificateORNVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (we can only accept NVQ's from a regulated awarding body)., You need to be able to prioritise your workload and work well within the Team on the ward area. Good communication skills are essential and a Professional attitude to patient care.
