Senior Clinical Research Nurse

We are currently recruiting to a full-time Band 7 Senior Clinical Research Nurse post to help lead our award-winning team of emergency medicine research nurses. The successful applicant will contribute to the coordination and delivery of NIHR portfolio studies across Barts Health Emergency Departments, working closely with the Consultant Lead for Emergency Medicine Research, the Lead ED Research Nurse, principal investigators, clinical teams, commercial and non-commercial sponsors, and external research networks., Applicants should ideally have a background in emergency department nursing and clinical research. They should be confident working with a high degree of autonomy, managing their own workload, supporting junior members of the team, and contributing to the safe and effective delivery of trauma and emergency care research studies. The role will involve identifying, approaching, consenting and recruiting suitable patients, collecting accurate research data, supporting trial set-up and feasibility work, and helping studies meet recruitment and performance targets.
