Experteer Overview In this role you support the development of a breathlessness-focused psychology service within an integrated care framework. You will collaborate with MDT colleagues and people who use the service to co-create care pathways and training. You'll help translate psychological approaches into practice across acute and community settings, with supervision and CPD opportunities. A key aim is empowering patients and staff through shared decision making and whole-person formulation. This is a chance to shape a new service aligned to the NHS vision. Pay / Benefits

  • Support development of the breathlessness psychology service using co-production with MDT colleagues, partners, and service users Apply a whole-person formulation, intervention, and consultation approach across acute and community settings Liaise with mental and physical health teams to support quality care and shared decision making Local line management and clinical supervision of psychologists in training Provide training and consultation to MDT professionals in mental health liaison and acute hospital settings Collaborate with peers to support the directorate's shared vision and engage with the service users In the initial phase, deliver training for MDT colleagues on using psychological approaches to breathlessness Ensure supervision spaces are integrated within the service model Tasks DClinPsyc Training or equivalent Experience across the age span and with health conditions Experience working with MDTs Skills in neuropsychological assessment and intervention Skills in consultation and training Has worked in NHS settings or equivalent Knowledge of research approaches Systemic thinking in MDT working Awareness of health condition impact on mental health Interest in clinical health settings; willingness to work in multiple teams Desirable: experience with co-production and social inequalities Key requirements 27 days holiday, plus bank holidays Excellent pension up to 14.5% Staff discounts (Blue Light Card, NHS discounts) 8K relocation package Season ticket loans Job share welcoming
