Senior Clinical Fellow - Vascular Services

We are looking to appoint a Senior Clinical Fellow to commence as soon as possible; appointments are for a 1 year fixed term period, with an option to extend.

Although the posts are non-training grade, there will be direct Consultant supervision and an educational programme including annual appraisal, 4-monthly supervisor meetings, access to an e-portfolio and relevant study leave. There will be a specific programme of protected teaching and a wide range of other clinical training activities.

The post involves cross site working at Russells Hall Hospital, Dudley.

Postholders are encouraged to undertake audit and quality improvement projects. They will also be supported to pursue Membership examinations in their chosen specialty. There will be options to develop formal teaching or research, The post offers excellent experience in General Surgery within the sub specialty of vascular services and would be suitable for someone who has completed Basic Surgical Training and is looking for an opportunity to widen their experience prior to moving on to Higher Surgical Training.
