Senior Clinical Fellow - Obstetrics and Gynaecology

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic doctor to join our Reproductive Medicine team as a Senior Clinical Fellow. The post holder will play a key role in delivering high-quality subfertility and assisted conception services, including coordination of IVF pathways, outpatient clinical care and multidisciplinary working. This role offers excellent experience in reproductive medicine within a well-established and high-performing fertility service. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a broad range of fertility treatments, ultrasound practice, and assisted conception techniques while working within a supportive and multidisciplinary team environment. The post is primarily based at West Middlesex University Hospital, with cross-site working at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital as required to support service delivery. This post does not include a general obstetrics on-call commitment. Any additional rota participation will be agreed in advance in line with service requirements.,

  The Fertility Centre (TFC) was opened in 1995 and is part of the Department of Private practice which offers the full range of Infertility treatments. The Fertility Centre team is made up of highly dedicated and motivated staff. The Fertility Centre is licensed through the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority. The infertility service has an outpatient infertility clinic, which allows the rapid diagnostic work up of couples referred here by local GP's or other specialists.
All fertility treatments are provided within The Fertility Centre. These include ovulation induction, intrauterine insemination, donor insemination, IVF, intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) and ovum donation. TFC also has a Reproductive Ageing and Fertility Programme led by Mr Nikolaou, focusing on improving management for women over 40 or with low ovarian reserve, as well as fertility preservation for cancer and social reasons. The unit currently runs between 500 and 600 cycles of IVF and ICSI per annum and is in the process of increasing its activity. The Unit treats both NHS and privately funded patients. Clinical staff in TFC includes Consultant Gynaecologists Miss Linda Ibeto, Mr Dimitrios Nikolaou, Mr Julian Norman-Taylor and Miss Kate Maclaran (Service Director).The Fertility Centre also has a service at West Middlesex Hospital where there are general subfertility clinics, fertility theatre lists, and an IVF satellite service. The post will involve sessions at both hospital sites.
