Senior Clinical Fellow in Medicine

The ST3-level clinical duties will include in-patient duties as part of a team managing patients admitted under general medicine consultants. This will include providing support to junior colleagues. There will be the opportunity to attend out-patient clinics in one of the . Depending on interest successful candidates may have the opportunity to be involved with specialist referrals., Clinical duties will include ward-based working gaining experience in both luminal and hepatology firms with supervised outpatient clinics and a regular endoscopy training list (gastroscopy or colonoscopy) per week if appropriate. Participation in the GIM on call rota and the opportunity to participate during daylight hours in a speciality gastroenterology SpR rota for inpatients speciality reviews of patients under diverse teams with consultant support. The Royal Hallamshire and Northern General Consultants will supervise this clinical service. Some sessions may be flexibly worked depending on space limitations in the outpatient and endoscopy departments.
