Senior Clinical Fellow in Maternal Medicine

Applications are invited for the position of a Senior Clinical Fellow in Maternal Medicine. This will be a 12 month fixed term post.

The candidate will be expected to actively participate in regional teaching sessions on maternal medicine, attend and present cases at the LOMG (London Obstetric Medicine Group) meetings.

The candidate will be expected to participate in on going audits and in research programmes in the department., The post enjoys opportunities to train in maternal medicine under the supervision of the Clinical Lead of SWL Maternal Medicine Network; Professor Hassan Shehata and his colleagues Miss Antoinette Johnson, Dr Samantha Montes, Miss Sai Gnanasambanthan. Professor Shehata FRCOG FRCPI is also the Maternal Medicine Preceptor at The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. The candidate is expected to work closely with our four maternal medicine specialist midwives, diabetes specialist midwives and High-Risk Obstetric Teams.
